Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

TBRI is a trauma-informed care model developed at Texas Christian University designed to help caregivers better connect with and support children who have experienced trauma, neglect, or early adversity. Through empowering, connecting, and correcting principles, TBRI equips foster and adoptive parents with practical tools to meet the complex needs of their children and build lasting, trusting relationships.
